In this article, we study Coleman bounce in weakly nonlocal theories which are motivated from string field theory. The kinetic term is extended via an infinite series of high-order derivatives, comes into play at energy scale $M$, without introducing any new states or ghosts the mass spectrum. We calculate bubble nucleation thin-wall approximation, treating system semi-classical manner. find that effect $M$ theory to suppress vacuum tunneling rate false true compared standard local bouncing scenario. Likewise, show as move further away wall, effects nonlocality gets reduced and suppression significant only around wall nucleated bubble. From our investigations, conclude main due fact smears solution profile. However, remains unaffected by microscopic behavior approximation. also discuss cases for Lee-Wick applications result cosmology.
